Every instruction begins with the legal, investigative or operational question that the evidence must help answer. The work is then scoped around preservation, proportionality, available sources, technical limitations and the form in which findings may need to be presented.
Lotie
Lotie is the founder and director of Digital Detective and works as a digital forensic and cybercrime specialist. His background combines criminal investigation, digital-forensic laboratory leadership, legal training and expert reporting.
Mias
Mias is a senior investigator and digital forensic examiner with extensive criminal-investigation experience. He supports evidence handling, acquisition, examination, investigative development and reporting.
Independence
Digital Detective’s role is to identify, preserve, examine and explain digital evidence objectively. Findings are reported with their limitations and are not shaped to favour a party’s preferred outcome.
